The 11:11, a new performance venue in the heart of West Hollywood, is set to officially open its doors. Founded in the early 70s and originally called the Globe Playhouse, it was renamed the Macha Theatre in 2000. Now, under the ownership of theatre and film production company An 11:11 Experience, the venue is expanding beyond traditional theatre to include live music, comedy, pop-up art-exhibits, film screenings, and private events.

On Saturday, June 2, at 8pm, The 11:11 will host the theatre’s debut entertainment event, Good Vibes Live, featuring music, dance, comedy, and art. More information on this special evening and a list of participating artists will be announced shortly. Tickets are on sale now at www.the1111space.com.

On Thursday, June 7, at 2pm, West Hollywood Mayor John Duran will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and the public is invited. Said Duran, “West Hollywood is thrilled to welcome The 11:11 to the Creative City. Cultural arts and entertainment are central to our image and mission and we look forward to having this new artists’ venue host great performances from across the entertainment spectrum for a very long time to come.”

Following the ribbon cutting, The 11:11 will host an open house through 6pm. Guests will see the remodeled and upgraded theatre space and a lobby that includes a lounge area and café boasting a retro, 70s, rock & roll vibe. Hors d’ouvres and cocktails will be served.

The 11:11 is located at 1107 N. Kings Road in West Hollywood, 90069.
