Chris Isaacson Presents and Upright Cabaret have announced that Broadway, film and television star Jeremy Jordan will make his Los Angeles solo concert debut on Monday, May 5 at the Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood. Jordan’s special guest will be his wife, Broadway performer Ashley Spencer. There will be two shows only at 7:30pm and 10pm; cocktail and dinner service begin at 6pm for the 7:30 show and at 9pm for the 10pm show.

Recounting decisive moments from his budding career, Jordan will perform songs that have defined his swift rise to stardom. Selections will include music from Broadway’s Newsies, NBC’s Smash, the upcoming feature film The Last 5 Years, and many of Jordan’s own personal favorites.

Jeremy Jordan appeared on Broadway in Rock of Ages and West Side Story just prior to receiving critical acclaim for his portrayal of Clyde Barrow in Bonnie & Clyde. He received a Tony Award nomination for his performance as Jack Kelly in Disney’s Newsies in 2012, and during the run was tapped for the role of Jimmy on the second season of NBC’s Smash. In addition to Smash, Jordan’s television work has included appearances on Law & Order: SVU and Elementary. On the big screen, Jordan starred in the Warner Bros. feature Joyful Noise and later this year will be seen starring alongside Anna Kendrick in The Last 5 Years, the film adaptation of Jason Robert Brown’s stage musical.

Ashley Spencer has appeared on Broadway in Grease (after taking second place on the TV reality show Grease: You’re The One That I Want), Hairspray, Rock of Ages, and Priscilla: Queen of the Desert. She has also been seen regionally in Les Misérables, The Producers, and Curtains. Jeremy Jordan and Ashley Spencer were married in 2012.

Chris Isaacson Presents has produced over 600 concerts and events since 2004. From small clubs to major theatres, Isaacson has presented Adam Lambert, Lea Michele, Megan Hilty, Billy Porter, Ana Gasteyer, Taylor Dayne, Paula Cole, Laura Benanti, Paul Anka, Sergio Mendes, and more. Co-founded by Isaacson in 2005, Upright Cabaret has been redefining the cabaret milieu for a new generation of audiences. Isaacson has also served as Entertainment Director at Rolling Stone LA, and he currently produces entertainment at The Grove in Los Angeles.

Jeremy Jordan with special guest Ashley Spencer will play two performances only at the Catalina Bar & Grill on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 7:30pm and 10pm. Doors open at 6pm for for the 7:30 show and at 9pm for the 10pm show (cocktail and dinner service minimums apply). Admission is $30, and VIP seating ($40) is available.
