Erich BergenErich Bergen, currently starring as Billy Crocker in the national tour of Anything Goes, is set to bring his one-night-only concert to San Francisco’s premiere nightclub, Live At The RRazz, on Monday, January 28 at 8pm. Anything Goes is currently playing at the Golden Gate Theatre through February 3. Of Bergen’s performance, Rob Hurwitt in The San Francisco Chronicle, said, “ … the hopeless romantic Billy Crocker [is] embodied by the wonderful Erich Bergen with leading man charisma, fine song-and-dance chops, and comic versatility.”

Erich Bergen is perhaps best known for his critically acclaimed performance as Four Seasons member Bob Gaudio in the first national tour and Las Vegas companies of the Broadway smash Jersey Boys. Other stage work includes A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum for Reprise Theatre Company, Venice for Center Theatre Group at the Kirk Douglas Theatre, and A Snow White Christmas for Lythgoe Family Productions. Bergen’s television credits include Gossip Girl, Desperate Housewives, Person of Interest, and Franklin & Bash. He will make his feature film debut starring opposite Erika Christensen, Joe Piscopo, and Paul Sorvino in How Sweet It Is, scheduled for a 2013 release. Last summer, he played the title role in Hero, a world premiere musical at the Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire, Illinois. Bergen is also an accomplished songwriter and recording artist. His debut CD, The Vegas Sessions, is available on iTunes and at Amazon.com.

In celebration of his first solo CD release, former Jersey Boys star Erich Bergen brings his new club act to San Francisco at the Rrazz Room at the Hotel Nikko on February 7 at 8pm.

Erich Bergen recently completed a three-year run starring as Bob Gaudio in the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Jersey Boys, beginning with the year-long San Francisco engagement at the Curran Theatre (2006-2007). He also appeared in the Los Angeles, First National Tour and Las Vegas companies. Other recent credits include Gossip Girl (CW Network), White Christmas (Pantages Theatre), A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum (Reprise), and Venice (Center Theatre Group at the Kirk Douglas Theatre). He also co-produced, directed, and served as musical director for Las Vegas Celebrates the Music of Michael Jackson, a benefit concert which raised $118,000 for Music Education in Nevada public schools.

Bergen’s CD, titled The Vegas Sessions, features new studio recordings of original compositions in the pop genre, along with live tracks recorded during three sold out Las Vegas appearances at the Liberace Museum in April, 2009. The disc will be available for purchase at the Rrazz Room concert, and is also available at Amazon.com, CD Baby, iTunes and other digital music outlets.

Bergen’s San Francisco appearance at the Rrazz Room is on Monday, February 7 at 8pm and the Hotel Nikko is located at 222 Mason Street.
