ONE SHOW ONLY
MONDAY, JUNE 9 AT 8PM
AT THE JOHN ANSON FORD AMPHITHEATRE

Linda EderChris Isaacson Presents and Upright Cabaret proudly present award-winning Broadway star Linda Eder for one show only on Monday, June 9 at 8pm at the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood. The evening will include selections from Eder’s 15 solo recordings which span countless musical genres including Broadway, standards, pop, country, and jazz. Eder will also welcome fellow Broadway star Constantine Maroulis and America’s first Mashup Group, the COMPANY MEN, as her special guests.

Linda Eder launched her recording career in 1991 and soon established herself as America’s most popular and acclaimed interpreter of pop standards and theatrical favorites. Since then, she has recorded 15 solo albums (including two holiday collections, the most recent of which was released in October 2013) and she is currently working on her 16th solo CD. Eder made her Broadway debut in 1997 in the Frank Wildhorn/Leslie Bricusse musical Jekyll and Hyde, earning a Drama Desk Award nomination. Since that time she has performed on 12 cast recordings. The dawn of 2014 finds the concert stage to be the mainstay of Eder’s career — she has performed to sold-out crowds in prestigious venues across the country and throughout Europe including Carnegie Hall, Town Hall, The Kennedy Center, Davies Hall, Radio City Music Hall, Wolftrap, and the Ravinia Festival. With her Ford Amphitheatre show on June 9, Eder returns to the Los Angeles concert stage for the first time in eight years.

Special guest Constantine Maroulis, known nationally as the sixth place finalist on season four of American Idol, was nominated for a 2009 Tony Award for his performance in Rock of Ages on Broadway. In 2012, Maroulis returned to Broadway in a new production of Jekyll and Hyde receiving great critical acclaim for his performance as Dr. Henry Jekyll. Other theatrical credits include several roles in Off Broadway productions and the international tour of Rent, in which he starred as the now iconic character of Roger.

As America’s first Mashup Group, the COMPANY MEN bring together a unique blend of talent, personality, and showmanship that harkens back to an earlier era while pushing the boundaries of today’s current sound. Daniel Tatar, Shawn Perucca, Stuart Ambrose, and Brian Purcell create a truly unique musical experience — timeless music from the past six decades mashed up with today’s hits.

Chris Isaacson Presents has produced over 600 concerts and events since 2004. From small clubs to major theatres, Isaacson has presented Adam Lambert, Lea Michele, Megan Hilty, Billy Porter, Ana Gasteyer, Natasha Bedingfield, Paula Cole, Laura Benanti, Jeremy Jordan, Paul Anka, Sergio Mendes, and more. Co-founded by Isaacson in 2005, Upright Cabaret has been redefining the cabaret milieu for a new generation of audiences. Isaacson has also served as Entertainment Director at Rolling Stone LA, and he currently produces entertainment at The Grove in Los Angeles.
