COEURAGE THEATRE COMPANY
ADDS THREE BENEFIT PERFORMANCES
OF ITS RUNAWAY HIT PRODUCTION
TREY PARKER’S CANNIBAL! THE MUSICAL

DECEMBER 18-19-20
TICKETS NOW ON SALE

Cannibal! The MusicalCoeurage Theatre Company (Jeremy Lelliott, Artistic Director; Nicole Monet, Managing Director), has announced the addition of three benefit performances of Trey Parker’s Cannibal! The Musical on December 18, 19, and 20 at the Lyric-Hyperion Theatre in Silver Lake. The runaway sold out hit ends its regular run on Saturday, November 22 but due to audience demand three special performances have been added just before the holidays for some non-Christmas Carol fun and to raise money for the non-profit theatre company.

These special performances of Cannibal! The Musical will benefit Coeurage, its various programs and its community outreach. The show opened on Halloween night and has received rave reviews for its inspired zaniness and abundance of laughter, and it has been playing to sold out houses.

The Coeurage Theatre Company production of Cannibal! The Musical has received unanimous critical raves. Says Ryan McRee of neontommy.com, “Coeurage Theatre Company’s production of Cannibal! The Musical is a true thrill for anyone who wants to see what barebones theatre can do.” Ellen Dostal at BroadwayWorld.com says, “… a surprisingly satisfying musical comedy about people eating dead people and singing and dancing while they do it. If you’ve got a sense of humor and don’t mind a little gore, you’re gonna love it.” And from Travis Michael Holder at ArtsInLA.com, “… there’s not a moment of this wonderfully silly musical treat that won’t make you howl with laughter.”

Tickets for the benefit performances of Cannibal! The Musical are now on sale at www.coeurage.org/tickets or by calling (323) 944-2165. All seats are $25. The performances are on Thursday, December 18 at 8pm, Friday, December 19 at 8pm, and Saturday, December 20 at 8pm. The remaining regular performances (Friday, November 21 at 8pm and Saturday, November 22 at 8pm and midnight) are sold out.
