Complete Works Hulu TV Logo Now Available on Hulu & Hulu Plus

Complete Works, an independently-produced five part comedy series, has been released on Hulu and Hulu Plus. The complete series is now available, and the link to the first episode is here: hulu.com/watch/623704.

Complete Works follows the travails of Hal, a naive Midwesterner in community college, who has been obsessed with Shakespeare since his Henry the Fourth birthday party. Winning the American Shakespeare Competition could pull him out of his boring life and give him the performing career he’s always dreamed of. The only problem — he’s never participated in an arts competition. As he deals with the crazy challenges and the challenging crazies, Hal discovers that the road to victory is often paved with douchebag-ery.

The cast features (in alphabetical order) Lizzie Fabie, Lili Fuller, Michael Keenan, Vicki Lewis, Daniel Montgomery, Laurie O’Brien, Kevin Quinn, Ben Sidell, Alex Skinner, Joe Sofranko, and Chase Williamson.

The series is written and directed by Joe Sofranko and Adam North. Executive
producers are Sofranko, North, and Lili Fuller. Complete Works is produced by Kingdom For A Horse Productions and Giancarlo Balarezo, and in association with ETC Theatre Company.

PRESS RELEASE — “THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST” ADDS PERFORMANCE ON SAT 6/21 AT 1PM (HWD FRINGE FESTIVAL)

PERFORMANCE ADDED!

QUEER CLASSICS PRESENTS
THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST
BY OSCAR WILDE
DIRECTED BY CASEY KRINGLEN

2014 HOLLYWOOD FRINGE FESTIVAL
LET LIVE THEATRE AT THE ACTORS COMPANY

The Importance of Being Earnest - Queer Classics - Ken WertherQueer Classics re-imagines one of the most popular comedic plays ever written — Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest, by presenting the four lovers in the story as dashing gay men. In response to rave reviews, a performance has been added on Saturday, June 21 at 1pm.

Two couples fight for the right to be engaged in this masterful satire written by Oscar Wilde, arrested in 1895 for “gross indecency with men.” This timeless story galavants through a world obsessed with appearances, money and social-status. By presenting the four lovers as gay men, the parallels with today’s Hollywood and American culture make for searing fun.

“Each of these talented actors mined new meaning into the script, creating more laughter throughout the play than I have ever experienced before,” raves Shari Barrett at BroadwayWorld.com. Rob Stevens of HainesHisWay.com calls the production “… delirious fun,” and Toby Jacobs at NeonTommy.com says, “… everyone seems to have a real blast onstage, and it shows in their performances. It is hard to recall a version of ‘Earnest’ that was quite this much fun.

Directed by Casey Kringlen, the cast features (in alphabetical order) Eric DeLoretta, Jeff Elam, Grant Jordan, Nancy La Scala, Mason McCulley, Philip Orazio, Boone Platt, and Megan Soule.

Queer Classics is dedicated to sharing classic stories re-imagined through a queer lens — art for the LGBTQ community and its supporters. This production of Earnest is part of the City of West Hollywood’s One City One Pride LGBTQ Arts Festival, which this year celebrates marriage equality and runs through June 30. To see a full roster of events please visit www.weho.org/pride.

Tickets for the added performance of The Importance of Being Earnest are $20 and may be obtained online at www.hollywoodfringe.org or by phone at (323) 455-4585. Previously announced performances are Thursday, June 19 at 8:30pm and Sunday, June 22 at 11am.
